Adams & Company, A Closer Look, by Jane Shadel Spillman, From: The Glass Club Bulletin 1990/91
---------------------------------------------------------------
Fig. 17. Assortment No. 155, Butter Dishes in "Thousand-Eye", "Good Luck", "Dot" and "Wildflower" patterns, Adams & Company. Spelman Brothers catalog, c. 1886.
Assortment No. 155 (Fig. 17) shows "Thousand-Eye", "Good Luck" (here called "Fern"), a "Dot" pattern and "Wildflower"; and Assortment No. 220 (Fig. 18) shows "Thousand-Eye" lemonade and water sets.  Table sets in "Dot",  "Good Luck" and Wildflower" were also available in 1886, as well as several more assortments, including other shapes in these patterns.  Of these, only "Thousand-Eye" and "Wildflower" show up in Adams's printed catalogs; although if we had a catalog of 1885 or earlier, we might have found some of these patterns, which were doubtless only made for a few years.
